A: 10,000 uses - likely a lifetime.
Q: Is AnySharp safe for kids?
A: Yes! BUT the knife gets very sharp. We recommend that children do not use.
Q:Does AnySharp work on ceramic knives?
A: No. This is the only blade material that AnySharp cannot be used on.
Q:Do I need to apply a lot of pressure when sharpening my knife with the AnySharp?
A: No. Infact you only need to use light pressure. When drawing your knife through the AnySharp use gentle strokes and light pressure
Q:Do the Blue, the Silver and the Metal Pro AnySharps do the same job?
A: Yes. All of them have the same PowerGrip, and the same sharpening tools. The Silver goes through an additional process to make it Silver, so it costs a bit more, but it is still made of the same essential materials. The Metal Pro, however, is made of metal, not ABS plastics, so it is heavier, stronger, and feels even better to use, but key features are the same.
Q: Can the AnySharp be used on Japanese knives, and/or Samurai swords?
A: AnySharp will work - the cutting tools are harder than the steel used, It certainly will not damage it! We tested on many knives, including these types, and specialist hunting knives - it works for all.The ONLY knife we cannot use AnySharp on is a ceramic knife. - For more information on this please contact us
